Study Abroad (USA Exchange) 2. Students in their Second YEar (Level 2) may, subject to approval by the Department, elect to study for the first half of the academic year (September-December) at an American university under the terms of the exchange agreements operated by the University's International Centre. Normally four courses (equivalent to Bristol units totalling 60 credit points) will be taken, and the grades converted to their Bristol equivalents for the purposes of degree classification.
