The aim of this module is to provide an introduction to helicopter design principles for those who may wish to broaden their technical knowledge of helicopter design and operation. On completion of the module, delegates will be able to: Understand the basic principles of helicopter design and operation; Identify the critical factors and constraints; Ask appropriate questions and make use of specialist advice given to achieve better judgements in their own area of expertise; Contribute effectively as a member of a team involved in helicopter design and operation; Undertake D7 Advanced Design of Rotorcraft with the necessary prerequisites.
