Education systems around the world, especially in Hong Kong, are undergoing far-reaching change. This unit will encourage students to reflect critically upon ways in which the growing impact of globalisation and the rapid socio-economic and demographic changes in contemporary societies are affecting the management of education. Particular attention will be paid to current policy and practice issues in Hong Kong.
