This is a two-week pre-sessional course for undergraduate students in any Engineering discipline who already hold an unconditional offer from the University of Bristol. Students will spend around half their time in the Engineering labs working on two multi-disciplinary design and build projects, and the remaining time in the classroom, working on Engineering-specific academic language and literacies. The course has been designed through close collaboration between CELFS (the Centre for English Language and Foundation Studies) and the Faculty of Engineering, ensuring an integrated approach to the learning of content and language.
