Description

The aims of the research project are to:

  • Give the student guided experience in the planning and execution of projects (either literature review, audit or service evaluation).
  • Enable the student to critically evaluate experimental data/ published papers.
  • Expose the student to the processes by which scientific results are communicated and debated.

Intended learning outcomes

Students successfully completing this module will be able to:

  • Undertake a literature search in their field of study within the area of oral pathology/ medicine.
  • Design and undertake a project (either literature review, audit or service evaluation).
  • Critically analyse data and present findings.

  • Literature review, audit or service evaluation presented as a dissertation.
