Closing the gap in Cleft Research

Cleft Collective Team

29 April 2020

Dr Yvonne Wren and her team win PIER prize.

The Cleft Collective and their PPI partners have won the PIER (Paediatric Involvement and Engagement in Research) prize from the Royal College of Paediatricians and Child Health.

The team, led by Dr Yvonne Wren, say they are thrilled to receive this recognition of the work they have been doing with the Cleft Lip and Palate Association and also with individuals who are affected by cleft, either themselves or as parents. The team have worked hard to ensure that PPI is integral to everything they are doing in the Cleft Collective and that it helps guide their aims as well as activities.

Congratulations to Yvonne and her colleagues.
