Philosophy hits the heights

The University's Philosophy Department has come through its Subject Review by the Quality Assurance Agency with flying colours.

The department scored 23 points out of a possible 24 and earned high praise from the reviewers.

Chris Bertram, Head of Department, said: 'We're very pleased at the positive result, which confirms our own view that we provide an excellent, friendly and supportive environment for students. We're relieved to be able to get back to giving them the service they deserve.'
