Other events taking place throughout the week include a Valentine's Day speed-dating event, a CV skills session and the launch of a drop-in clinic for victims of crime.  The clinic will run every Wednesday from 2 to 4 pm in the Student's Union, 6th floor, Queen's Road.

Bryony Ryan, SCA Co-ordinator, commenting on SCA Week, said: 'This a perfect opportunity for us to celebrate being one of the leading and best supported SCA's in the country.

'This week we have welcomed our 800th volunteer.  SCA volunteers give over 90,000 hours to the local community every year and SCA week gives us the chance to say thank you and well done to all of them.'

SCA has 800 volunteers in total, working on projects from a night shelter for the homeless, to a day centre for the elderly, to helping out in local schools and much, much more.
