PWE week is back

27 March 2008

The University’s third Positive Working Environment (PWE) Week will take place from 2-6 June. This year’s week will be the biggest so far, with more than 100 events taking place over the five days.

All events are free of charge to staff and departments. You are encouraged to book as soon as possible, as many events are popular and places may be limited.

The keynote speakers this year are Dr Chris Johnstone, who will deliver a talk on improving working environments and a workshop on positive psychology at work, and David Nutt, Professor of Psychopharmacology and Head of the Department of Community-Based Medicine, who will give a talk entitled ‘Drugs: the good, the bad and the ugly’.

Please visit the PWE website for further details of all events, and to make bookings.

PWE Week is sponsored by Waterstone’s, Canon, Habitat, Hamptons International, First Great Western, Swiftline Taxis, Godfrey Syrett, Kathmandu, Randstad, APB Colour Print Ltd and GV Multi-media.
