Children of the 90s celebrates 21 years media coverage

A conference to discuss the remarkable scientific discoveries the Children of the 90s study at the University of Bristol has made since it started in 1991 was covered by BBC Points West, BBC online news and ITV the West Tonight.

As Children of the 90s at the University of Bristol celebrates its 21st birthday this year, a conference to discuss the remarkable scientific discoveries the study has made since it started, was covered by BBC Points West, BBC Radio Bristol, BBC online news, Bristol Evening Post, ITV the West Tonight, Jack FM, Nature podcast as a follow up to a recent article and the Observer.

The study was founded in 1991 by Professor Jean Golding, who convinced more than 14,000 pregnant women in Bristol and the surrounding area to take part.

Professor George Davey Smith, succeeded Professor Golding as scientific director in 2006.
