Bristol graduates win at archaeology film festival

Two films made by graduates of the MA programme in Archaeology for Screen Media won prizes at The Archaeology Channel International Film and Video Festival earlier this month.
Robert Blake and the Civil War Sieges of Taunton (Rhodri Davies and Ros Evans, with music by Robin Schlochtermeier, a student on the MA programme in Composition for Film and TV) won for Best Narration and Best Use of Music. It was also nominated for Best Script.
An Introduction to Contemporary Archaeology (Rhodri Davies, Ros Evans and Chandrachoodan Gopalakrishnan) was nominated for Best Film and received a Jury Special Mention for An Innovative Representation of Archaeology.
