17 July 2012
Dr Mike O’Mahony is one of three writers discussing the Olympics at the Watershed tomorrow (Wednesday 18th July) - and one of 200 saxophonists playing a new piece by Andy Sheppard as part of the Cultural Olympiad.
The other two participants are David Goldblatt (How to Watch the Olympics) and Martin Polley (The British Olympics).
Dr O’Mahony is also one of 200 saxophonists performing 'Sax Massive', a new piece written and conducted by Bristol-based jazz saxophonist Andy Sheppard as part of the BT River of Music festival, a component of the Cultural Olympiad. The performance takes place on Sunday 22 July, at Somerset House in London.
