Code of conduct for attending our events

We want our events to be a positive and inclusive experience for everybody and would ask all attendees conduct themselves in ways that are in accordance with the following framework:   

  • All attendees are expected to show respect and courtesy to each other throughout our events.  

  • All attendees are expected to support us in creating an environment where everybody feels that they belong, regardless of their background or personal circumstances.  

  • Any form of bullying or harassment during the events - including but not limited to the protected characteristics of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion and belief, sex and sexual orientation - will not be tolerated.   

  • Thank you for helping make our events welcoming, friendly and inclusive for all.

If someone makes you or anyone else feel unsafe or unwelcome at our events, please contact the event organiser as soon as possible via uk-events@bristol.ac.uk.

Third party services collect certain technical information from your device including standard internet log information i.e. Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type and version, and page interaction information.
