PPN PGR Away Day 2023

Press release issued: 21 June 2023

On Monday 19th June we had the PPN Postgraduate Research Away day at Clifton Hill House, with all the students presenting their research at sessions chaired and attended by the students. The talks were excellent and received lots of questions. We had two rooms one loosely themed around Neuroscience and the other Cardiovascular, cell signalling and pharmacology. The best final year talks received the Tocris (a spin out company from PPN) Cup and Tocris Goody bags. Tocris has now been taken over by BioTechne and current employees Frederique Diraison (formerly in Biochemistry, Bristol University) and Antonia Pingree (Pharmacology, Bristol University, Graduate, 2004). Please check their website for graduate entry job opportunities.
