About parents with learning difficulties
All parents have difficulties at times and need support with their parenting from others. Parents with learning difficulties do too. For example, some may have had poor role models or be struggling with poor housing, poverty or with their mental health. Parents with learning difficulties often experience difficulties with literacy, understanding abstract concepts and managing their everyday lives and parenting activities.
