IT Services R&D / ILRT

Until 2014, IT Services R&D / ILRT was the research and development division of the University of Bristol's IT Services. We were a multidisciplinary group with a mission to:

  • Prototype, pilot and develop technologies and applications for research and education
  • Advise on technical aspects of research bids
  • Partner with academics in externally-funded projects
  • Explore emergent technologies to help equip IT Services for the future

We explored new ideas in collaboration with individual academics, research groups, departments, schools, faculties and academic support services.
