Study Abroad programmes

If you are registered at a university abroad and would like to spend a semester or year in Bristol, you can apply for our Study Abroad programme. There's a wide range of courses to choose from and you can transfer the credit you earn to your degree back home.

If you do not meet the English language requirements for the Study Abroad Programme or need additional English language tuition, you can apply for our Study Abroad with English Language (STABEL) programme. 

English language tuition 

The Centre for English Language and Foundation Studies (CELFS) offers tuition in English and study skills for students for whom English is a foreign language.

The International Foundation Programme is ideal preparation for degree-level study at the University of Bristol. 

Support for international students

In September each year, the University organises a programme of welcome events to help you settle into University life.
