Biography

Dick Clements graduated in mathematics at Christs College, Cambridge in 1969.  Subsequently he studied for a Postgraduate Certificate in Education at Leicester University and a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering at the Cambridge University Engineering Laboratory.  He joined the staff of the Engineering Mathematics Department at Bristol University in 1973 as a Lecturer.  He was promoted Senior Lecturer in 1988, awarded the title of Reader in 1993, promoted to Professorial Teaching Fellow in 2005 and awarded the status of Emeritus Professor ...
