The Tiger Room
We are using this room as a creative space for all ages, as well as a space for our 3-4 year olds.
They do lots of exciting things such as photography and IT as well as sharing garden time with their peers, enjoying loose parts play and other activities.
Older children can use the 'Teach my monster to read' and 'Top marks' websites. These are lots of fun and help with the development of maths and reading skills. The children also enjoy the 'Cosmic kids yoga' youtube clips, a great way to get some excercise and to help relax. We do adhere to current screen time recomendations for 2-5 year olds and restrict the use to 10 minutes at a time, occasionally educational clips will be shown and again these are restricted to around 10 minutes. Independence is encouraged and the children make their own sandwiches, cut fruit and serve their lunch and sometimes do the washing up too!
Most importantly they have lots of fun learning through play.
