Concern is often expressed regarding the prevalence of risky behaviours amongst young-people, from binge-drinking and smoking to drug-taking and unprotected sex. In this research strand we will use techniques ranging from neural imaging to longitudinal data analysis to cast light on the decision processes underlying young people’s engagement in these activities.
