Experience

Over 15 years experience as an Executive and Leadership coach and facilitator. I’ve worked with Senior Leaders and their teams on a variety of themes including:

I am a certified resilience / mental toughness practitioner and share practical tools and techniques that work, both as a preventative measure and when the going gets tough and individuals face overwhelm.
As Director of two businesses, I understand the challenges facing managers and senior people, applying my own coaching tools to my work, which I can then share with those I coach. I have worked with coaches myself and found it transformational and am committed to supporting others in the same way.

Coaching style

Intelligent, open, supportive with a good level of accountability and challenge. A deep listener, I help people bring clarity to complex issues. I draw from many coaching theories from positive psychology, resilience, NLP and spend much of my time outside of the coaching session developing my knowledge, which I am then able to share. Gaining perspective is important, as is shining a light on our thinking and behavioural patterns and defaults to bring about change. This can create shifts in our interactions with others and enable us to communicate positively, confidently and successfully. I want coaching to be fascinating, enjoyable, worth the time invested with insight and real change enhancing our private and working lives.

I am community focused and enjoy connecting with businesses and community leaders in Bristol. I am Chair of The Key: Unlock Potential, a charity working with HMP Bristol and the Ministry of Justice, which will open a cafe hub on Gloucester Rd offering paid employment and training for ex-prisoners and those currently in prison, hopefully reducing reoffending and enhancing rehabilitation.
