PointSolutionscan be installed on a UoB-managed PC from the Software Centre. If you can't see PointSolutions in your Software Centre, contact IT support. To avoid delays, include the PC's ‘IT number’, which should be displayed on a sticker on the PC.
PointSolutions is available in the Company Portal for NWoW laptops.
You can also install it by following the steps below:
To install PointSolutions on a personal laptop, contact IT support, asking them to supply you with the same version that is currently installed on the University's PCs.
All centrally-managed, and many locally-managed, teaching spaces have PointSolutions installed. If it is not available in a locally-managed teaching space that you use, request that it is installed by contacting IT support. If you can, include the PC's ‘IT number’ which should be displayed on a sticker on the PC.
These teaching spaces already have a PointSolutions receiver connected to the presentation PC. You should avoid plugging a second receiver in to a PC, as this will force a channel change in one of the receivers.
